Episode 1.10: The Supreme Judge of Scripture

Judge's Bench and gavel

Who is the supreme judge of the Bible? What about other lesser judges? How can they been helpful? How can they been harmful? Why is the Holy Spirit the best interpreter of the Bible? These are some of the important questions we answer on today’s episode. Join Shawn, Joel, Nathan, and Kyle as we discuss the supreme judge of the Bible from the Westminster Confession of Faith 1.10:

The supreme judge by which all controversies of religion are to be determined, and all decrees of councils, opinions of ancient writers, doctrines of men, and private spirits, are to be examined, and in whose sentence we are to rest, can be no other but the Holy Spirit speaking in the Scripture.

Also, please remember that next week’s episode will be an exclusive Q&A. If there’s a question or comment you have from the first chapter of the WCF email it to us: thejerusalemchamber [at] gmail [dot] com.
